The position of the Education and Information Technology Committee, just to set the record straight, is that all children in Kenya should get their certificates. That is the position of the Committee. That was where we started from the word go. In our communication and interrogation of the Cabinet Secretary, we made that very clear. However, as you have noted from the statement that has been made, there are a number of contradictory laws that relate to this matter. From the outset, I would like to say that Prof. Kaimenyi, the Cabinet Secretary, unlike what Sen. Hassan Abdirahman wants us to believe, is a very able professor and has been in the area of education for a long time. He appreciates this.
