    "content": "On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise on a point of order to request for your guidance on an issue. Yesterday, the Senate adjourned to discuss the challenges facing the Members of the County Assemblies (MCAs). We took three hours to discuss some of these things. You remember that approximately three months ago, we had a similar Motion moved by Sen. Murkomen and we had the same discussion. Having heard these two Motions of Adjournment to discuss the issue, we are wondering because if you look at Article 230 of the Constitution on the composition of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), we have a responsibility as a Senate to nominate one person on behalf of county governments. Maybe this is where we need to explore.
