    "content": "Secondly, Mr. Speaker, Sir, although I did not ask for your permission, two weeks ago, I requested a Statement from the Chairman of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations on the status of security on the Muhoroni-Nandi border. Although I was assured that a Statement would be given, it has not been given and the situation has become worse. Yesterday, a farmer was killed in that area and there have been more invasions of farms. It is alleged that these people, armed with bows and arrows, have been snatching guns from policemen. I do not understand how somebody with a bow and arrow can snatch a gun from a policeman when the policeman has a whole platoon of policemen around him. There is really a lot of tension on that border. At this point in time, the last thing we need to have in this nation is this kind of politically-engineered inter-ethnic conflicts."
