I agree with the Mover that, indeed, this is a national crisis and we should not shy away from discussing it. I want to remind Members of this Senate that our first responsibility, as a Senate is, indeed, to protect the counties and their governments. I remember a Member saying here and reading out our mandate. He said that our mandate is to protect county governments.
