    "content": "The SRC has taken so long to solve this problem. It is really a question of engagement. They have the capabilities to already have engaged at the various levels to try to find a solution. But the silence has been too profound and it has not been good for the country. We, therefore, need to find ways of just engaging. Various proposals have been given and I think the proposal to directly engage with SRC either in the Committee of the Whole or even to come up with more drastic action, because I think we would really be judged very harshly as the Senate. I remember the Speaker of the County of Kilifi calling directly and asking “what are you people doing about it?” Other counties have also been alluding to the same; “what are you, people, going to do about it?” Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is time to act now; it was time to act yesterday. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I beg to support."
