Deputy Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, aware that Article 241 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, establishes the Kenya Defence Forces and requires the composition of the command of the Defence Forces to reflect regional and ethnic diversity of the people of Kenya; further aware that Article 246(4) stipulates that the composition of the National Police Service shall reflect the regional and ethnic diversity of the people of Kenya; deeply concerned that the foregoing constitutional requirements cannot be attained unless the process of recruitment of the members of the Forces is undertaken fairly across the country; and considering that the constituency provides the best The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
