Dennitah Ghati, MP Road traffic accidents have continued to be one of the greatest challenges facing us globally, not just in this country. World Health Organization (WHO) statistics indicate that 1.2 million people die annually from road accidents. Coming back home to Kenya, we have an average of 3,000 deaths annually, from road accidents. This particular year, we have hit the 3,000 mark and this is in early October, which means we are going higher than the average this year."
