    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I rise to support the Motion. In doing so, I want to congratulate hon. Nyamai for bringing the Motion to the House. This is a timely Motion. One of the challenges that we face as a country, especially the youth and women, is often accessing documents of identification. I remember that when we were making the Constitution, we deliberated on this matter at length. Many of us were of the view that we should as much as possible have one document of identification. Countries like the United States of America have two documents of identification – a driving licence and a social security card. In this country, we have a myriad of documents for all manner of things. This Government says that it is digital but it is digital in words, and not in deeds. I would want to urge them to walk the talk and start being digital. We are living in an era where you can get all this information very fast and contain it in an electronic card. So, I would want to urge that, as much as possible, we reduce these documents to one card. There are border constituencies like mine, which borders Tanzania and Uganda.
