    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, when the Senate established this ad hoc Committee we embarked on our responsibilities. I must thank all the members of the Committee who have worked very hard to ensure that this Committee fulfills its mandate. As a Committee, we have held several meetings with the two consultants that we had contracted. One consultant specialized in philanthropic giving and the other one on issues of taxation, particularly tax relief. Both were supported by the SUNY programme; a programme that has been working with Parliament for quite some time. We agreed on the terms of reference of these consultants to help us in the end come up with concrete outputs of the committee in terms of proposing tax relief for those who contribute to harambees."
