I thank you for the ruling, but I did not hear anything about the petition that I had presented on behalf of Mwea rice farmers even before we went for recess. When we came back, I have not heard any response today. Could you go back and make a ruling on petitions? I think the problem we are having is that some of the Committees are combining very many sections. The Committees should be split as we had agreed earlier. I can see Sen. Murungi here; could he tell us what happened to the suggestion that the Committees should be split so that they are more effective?"
