    "content": "First of all, I want to clarify that by the time we constituted the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) in 2012, the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) was not in place and therefore, the representative of that body could not have been part of the SRC. That is why we are doing it this time, so that the SRC as composed is full and inclusive of the representative of the NPSC. According to the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, this House is supposed to vet the nominee from the NPSC. We have done that.
