It is very explicit that the responsibility of ensuring compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution with regard to integrity is the sole responsibility of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. Therefore, I find it a bit demeaning and compromising the status and independence of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to refer to a letter or an opinion from the same Commission as petty."
