    "content": "One, when I came to this House, we committed ourselves as Members of this House to uphold the rule of law, and to defend the Constitution of the country. We did not have very specific and serious issues with the candidates, but we had very grave concerns with regard to the process that brought them to the Floor of this House. I want to draw our attention to the TSC Act, Section 8(7), which requires that a list of three and not seven be submitted to the President after duly having undergone approval by this august House. This was not done. Instead, seven candidates were forwarded to the President in contravention of this section of the Act. We know that we are law makers and we cannot, whatsover, participate in anything that breaks the same laws that we make in this House."
