    "content": "I urge hon. Members and the policy makers of this Government to consider investing in milk processing plants in all the milk producing regions. Where I come from where we have a large number of cattle, camels and goats, we should ensure that specific policies are developed to establish milk processing and packaging outlets in all the areas; we can target the wards. Those are the ones that produce a lot of milk. In every ward headquarters, there should be a milk processing and packaging plant owned by a farmers association. That way, the farmer will not have to sell his litre of milk at Kshs27, but will be able to sell it at a much higher price because of the value addition that will have been put by the middlemen."
