    "content": " Hon. Senators, I have a short Communication to make. As you are aware, the sub-committee on the review of the Standing Orders has been considering the Senate Standing Orders with a view to proposing amendments to the Standing Orders. The sub-committee will shortly be presenting its final report to the Rules and Business Committee following which, pursuant to Standing Order No.244, the Rules and Business Committee shall table its report in the Senate. Hon. Senators, the sub-committee has received a number of proposals from Senators which have all been considered by the sub-committee. Hon. Senators who wish to make any further proposals are requested to present the proposals to the office of the Clerk on or before Friday, 11th October, 2013, so that these may be considered by the sub-committee before it concludes its report. Thank you."
