"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise to make a statement concerning a question which had been raised by the Senator for Marsabit County, Sen. Hargura. He wanted to know the total allocation for all the 47 counties for the last 20 years. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, a Statement on this issue was presented to the House. However, the Senate was not satisfied. To that effect, we requested the Ministry of National Treasury to respond to the issues raised. They indicated that the period of 20 years is a long time and a lot of things have happened. Within that time, some ministries have been merged while others have been scrapped. That means that the AIE holders are different. The Ministry officials said they require a lot of time to compile this information. They requested our Committee for an extension of time, say, three months, to compile the report."
