Before we leave this particular order, last week, the Chair of the Committee on Agriculture, Land and Natural Resources told the Senate that he was going to respond on the important issue of COMESA safeguard measures that are currently protecting sugar farming in the sugar zones of the country. He was responding to a request for a Statement which I had raised three months ago.
