    "content": "The Chair has looked at the provisions of Clause 3 of the National Police Service Commission (Amendment) Bill 2013 which seeks to amend Section 10, Sub-section 1, paragraph K of the National Police Service Commission Act 2013 by adding the words “on disciplinary matters relating to transfers, promotions and appointments” immediately after the words “ of the service.” Hon. Members if the proposed amendment was to be passed by the House, the amended Section 10, Sub-section 1, Paragraph K of the National Police Service Commission Act 2013 would read as follows:- “In addition to the functions of the Commission under Article 246(3) of the Constitution, the Commission shall hear and determine appeals from members of the service on disciplinary matters relating to transfers, promotions and appointments.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
