As the Chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee, I wish to state that we are agreeable with the amendments by the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade. We, as a Committee, are satisfied that the requirements of Article 114 of the Constitution have been met because the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade has consulted with the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury."
