Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 24 be amended in the proposed New section 22A(1)(e)(ii) by inserting the words “if the chairperson, director, chief executive, management and the personnel are shareholders of the company” at the end thereof Hon. Chairlady this section seeks to put criminal liability on the directors of a company if a member of staff fails to pay tax. So, we are only saying that some of the directors and members are not shareholders or executives.
