Deputy Speaker, I strongly support the Motion which is well intended, but I will not support the idea of giving the Kenya Police Reservists (KPRs) or the people who are grazing those cows guns. Let guns be with the trained people – the people who know how to handle them. We have them in our systems. Let the KPRs, regular police, Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) and the General Service Unit (GSU) have guns, but we should not arm civilians."
