    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, first, this issue bedevils everybody in this country. Elective positions are set out in the Constitution. We have the MCAs, Members of Parliament, Governors, Senators, the Deputy President and the President. When the Constitution was passed, it defined all the elective positions. It spelt out in black and white the role of each elected leader. Job evaluations for MCAs are now taking place when they are supposed to represent people. They are elected leaders just like us and others. Truly, I do not know and foresee where the Chairperson of the SRC is heading with her Commission. It would be important for her to tell us what should be done. If not, let us get to the bottom of the issue and allow the package that MCAs as proposed be given to them."
