"content": "Precisely! Hon. Members, we know for a fact that it does happen. We cannot just bury our heads in the sand. It is quite possible. It happens from time to time in the Government. Government agencies would win cases but they would not even bother to follow up for compensation. So, what Parliament is telling the NCPB is: “Should you win, you have an obligation. We do not want to re-visit this matter. Make sure that you get back that money.” This is to ensure that our Committee on Implementation follow-up that money. So, once the NCPB wins the appeal, whatever monies that have been paid out must be recovered. So, it is not a matter that has to come back to Parliament. That is the net effect of this amendment.
