If you so grant, you would have done nothing new because a precedent was set for you by earlier Speakers who ruled as much. We would have saved the time of this House and we would also have pre-empted the possibility of again going to the East African Court of Justice or to the International Criminal Court (ICC). I beg that you consider my request."
