    "content": "fulfilled the conditions given as stipulated in the allocation such as stipulated development and payments of rents and rates, the rights can only be acquired back through compulsory acquisition or through a negotiated exchange with full and adequate compensation. However, the contract between the Government and the lessee is for the stated period not exceeding 99 years. Extension, therefore, is subject to the Government policy in place. One of the policies used is that the previous lessee must be given preference. The other Government policy is to create awareness on the requirement for the extension of leases so that the lessees are aware of when and how to apply for extension."
