However, I wanted to clarify that when we speak about retired personnel, we are not talking about whether to use them or the young people. We should instead do both. But because these people were trained and they are at home, it is a waste of skills for them to sit at home while they were trained on how to use arms and we could deploy them at an instant rather than wait and train a young person to take over. My proposal was not that we leave the young people and go for the older ones, but we try to utilize them. In fact, we could even utilize those old ones to train the young ones as a way of engagement."
