Similarly, there has never been any policy to do that, but I think that this is a matter that needs to be pursued with the authority concerned. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am aware that there are homeguards both in West Pokot and Samburu. They may not be adequate, but as I stated yesterday, I am aware of those who have been trained in Wajir, Garissa and Mandera for the last one year and are not armed.
