About 1,000 acres of land is under irrigation. This is done by the Italians. They are planning to do 10,000 acres which will cover part of Kaino plains. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I plead with the Government to spread irrigation activities across the country because this was the reason we went for devolution. If we have to do irrigation, we have to do it very close to where the problem is."
