    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, from the outset, as I said earlier, I am setting the stage for what the Bill says before amendments. I want it to be very clear that this is the Bill that was received in Parliament before the anticipated amendments. This Bill provides for a body that will be free of Government control. The Government will not have a role in it, in whatever form. This Bill provides for a body that will be free from the politicians and the political class. Lastly, this Bill provides for a body that is free from commercial interests; that body will be mandated to set the media standards, to regulate and to monitor compliance within the framework of this Bill."
