Temporary Deputy Speaker, the Council’s powers are provided for under Clause 7, and this includes resolution of disputes relating to media and the promotion of professional standards. The criteria for the membership are set out in Clause 9 of the Bill. Removal of a member will be through a fair process under Section 15.
