    "content": "On the concerns of the Committee, KARI Naivasha Centre, the Committee noted that the role played by the centre in the development of dairy, poultry, sheep and goats as well as a Sahiwal Research Programme was enormous. The centre holds the largest Sahiwal pure breed herd in the world and, therefore, is of economic value to the country. Furthermore the centre supplies improved animal genotypes to pastoral communities, thereby improving their livestock and income."
