    "content": "Yes, hon. Deputy Speaker. I am on this as the bona fide Member for Naivasha, and also as a Member of the Committee on Lands. As the Chairman has said, the Committee interrogated the matter with KARI management; I believe the state of KARI ownership of the land has been well amplified. KARI Naivasha is the premier agricultural research station in the country. It was established more than 100 years ago and its contribution towards the betterment of agriculture in this country cannot be over- emphasised. As the Chairman has said, quite viable agricultural research is happening at the station. A few weeks ago, KARI, Naivasha, came up with a cure for a lethal maize disease that we have seen in this country in the last few years. It has also been identified as a regional centre of excellence in dairy farming---"
