I also feel that there is a problem if we increase the number of Commissioners from five to six. We need to reduce the number of Commissioner to five. I would also like to look at the appointment of the Inspector General which my able Chairman has already talked about. The appointment of the Inspector General brings in the Public Service Commission (PSC) as the people who should constitute a committee that will sit for the first time to vet the Inspector General. I feel that this is against Article 246(3) of the Constitution. It goes ahead to give the PSC powers to provide--- Let me read it out. It says: “Convene the first meeting of the selection panel at which the members of the selection panel shall elect a chairperson from amongst the members.”"
