    "content": "Two, the Government is further not aware of the influence of the alleged organisation in the conflict in Marsabit County. However, the relationship between the Borana community on one hand and the Burji and the Gabra communities on the other is characterised by mistrust and suspicion. The main cause of all the reported conflicts in Marsabit County is attributed to competition for resources as the case may be in most of the pastoralist counties. During the recent incident in Moyale Central, a District Officer’s office, Sesse Academy Primary School and a number of homes were burnt down besides the looting of two lorries. I want to confirm that 23 suspects were arrested and charged and the case is pending before the Moyale Law Court. In addition, the Government, through the Ministry of Devolution and Planning, has provided humanitarian assistance to the people affected by the conflict. I will table the Ministry of Devolution and Planning, Kenya Red Cross and the World Food Programme (WFP) reports."
