    "content": "Secondly, self-regulation is likely to be more efficient as the media understand their own environment more than the Government would. On some of the issues referred to by hon. (Eng.) Gumbo earlier on about the blogosphere, internet and this digital age, as the media becomes more globalized it becomes more difficult or the issues become more complex. These are issues of jurisdiction and what exactly goes where because we are now in a global village. Self-regulation is likely to fill this gap because the Government will not be in the business of understanding the international context of the media. The media can do that."
