    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I beg to support the Motion by Sen. Chelule and thank her for bringing it. The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) and the Government of Kenya should take an example from other countries. This is a situation that many countries have dealt with, for example, Brazil. The World Bank invested a lot in Brazil in the 1980s and 1990s to make sure that the direct credit programme was enhanced. This was after acknowledging that agriculture is the backbone of the society."
