The vetting system, as is being practised in Kenya today, is new, but is an important achievement of our Constitution, for which national patriots have struggled and shed blood over the years. For some of us, we celebrate this moment; it is very gracious and very humble to the Kenyan people, who finally voted this Constitution to be the foundation of our Republic."
