"content": " Let us first dispose of the question by Sen. Orengo. You are an expert in the Standing Orders, and Standing Order No.56 provides that after the Question has been proposed on a Motion, the Motion shall be deemed to be in possession of the Senate and as such, a Motion shall not be withdrawn without the leave of the Senate. So, I believe by interpretation, leave of the Senate means there being no objection by any Senator either with the sympathy of the Speaker or the support of at least two other Senators. Already there is the sympathy of the Speaker and I hope there is no objection to withdrawal.
