(b) The DC has now applied for electricity supply vide the application number E21112080200812 dated 29th February, 2008. The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) responded in a letter dated 30th March, 2009, by giving design details and a quotation of Kshs2,386,411 for the power supply. My Ministry is making available the sum required to facilitate the power reconnection in the next financial year which will be starting on 1st July."
