    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for this opportunity. I also wish to express myself to this Bill. From the outset, I support this Bill. My understanding of this Bill is that it seeks to further empower the role of the National Assembly. If you look at Article 95(1) of the Constitution, you realise the powers that are vested in us by the people of Kenya to represent and deliberate on their issues. The presence of the Report before the Assembly will assist us to sit down, go through it, consider and specifically make reference to the various amendments and recommendations that have been put in it. Going forward, I wish to appreciate the fact that there have been historical injustices in this country. Coming from the coastal region, in particular Kaloleni Constituency; there have been issues that remain unresolved. I am sure that the people of Kaloleni and Coast region will be ready and happy to hear about the circumstances that led to the mysterious death of hon. Ronald Gideon Ngala who apparently was from my constituency, and of course, whose party I contested the parliamentary seat and won."
