    "content": "Right now, crime rate in the country is on the increase. The statistics are clear that most of the criminals are people who have been in the police force. My appeal to this House is that we need to be clear in vetting the police officers. It may be a crisis in waiting. Let us have a proper team in that Commission. We need to have people who can conduct research and report back and who are clear on the benchmarks of the vetting process. Some of the things the disciplined forces have been doing are not proper. I listened to Gen. Nkaissery saying that he was mentioned in one of the reports, yet he was a junior officer then, but he had to do the job of the seniors because he was commissioned to do that. There are tricky issues that need to be well looked into."
