    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker, Sir. I just want to respond to the last statement that was made by the Member, regarding the role of the county governments. I have been hearing a lot of murmurs from the counties and especially from their godfathers in the other House that the central Government has been giving out licences to clear forests. It seems that there has not been an appreciation that forests are still under the purview of the national Government and it is KFS’ responsibility to give those licences. There is no role now for county governments to manage these resources."
