    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir. I wanted to propose a further amendment to Part 20(b)(iii) which talks about the independent candidates. It says that surplus funds be committed to a charitable organization of choice. I want to delete that so that the candidate is able to retain it for purposes that other candidates who are in political parties will be able to benefit from the political parties funds as a source of residual income to carry on the activities."
