Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, the clause 2 be amended— (a) in the definition of “contribution”, by deleting the word “money” appearing immediately after the word “means” and substituting therefor the words “monetary and non-monetary contributions including”; (b) in the definition of “organisation”, by deleting the phrase “or a corporate body”; (c) by inserting the following new definitions in their proper alphabetical sequence— “expenditure period” means the prescribed period for regulating election campaign financing; “monetary contribution” means a non-repayable amount of money contributed to a campaign financing account; “non-monetary contribution” means the market value of a service, other than volunteer labour, or of property or of the use of property or money to the extent that they are provided without charge or at less than their market value."
