"content": "5. The person engaged shall abide by the provisions of the TSC Code of Regulations for teachers and any other policy for the Public Service. (b) The Ministry of Education plans to absorb the teachers on contract to permanent and pensionable terms immediately Treasury provides funds in the next financial year. The Ministry in a letter dated 31st March, 2011, on 2011/2012, 2013/2014 medium term budget requested for Kshs6.556 billion from Treasury for the recruitment of an additional Kshs10,000 and for absorbing the contract teachers into permanent service.
