Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 24 be amended in paragraph (a), by deleting the word “Parliament” and substituting therefor the words “National Assembly”. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, this is to clear the air. We just wanted to make sure that it is the National Assembly that is doing it. It is talking about such monies as may be allocated to the Council by Parliament. We want to make it clear that it is the National Assembly that is doing this."
