    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to take this opportunity to thank the Members of the House. Indeed, what happened here a while ago was actually very shameful. It is shameful that Members can politicize an issue of this magnitude. We wanted to come up with an agreeable position when my Committee went and sat down with the media stakeholders. However, as you know, we required the two- thirds majority in the House. Now that we did not get it, I want to tell all the Members that in future it is possible that any Member can bring amendments before the House at any given time and that will require a simple majority. Therefore, there was no need for this fighting and the pulling back and forth because it was not important. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank hon. Members of this House who are here for their magnanimity and for showing a lot of goodwill so that we can proceed with these Bills."
