"content": "that we do positively in Government will go to the Government of the second Republic, under the new Constitution. If it bears the imprint of anyone of us, we will have gone that extra mile in order to move Kenya forward. But what is most important is that this leadership will be remembered by what we do collectively in this Parliament. But if we are out to fight for our mutual self destruction, which is the operating kind of agenda in the past in this country - that when I see hon. Orengo falling, you want to put more fire; when hon. Ethuro is falling, we want to throw stones at him, this shows that we are not each otherâs keeper. You must be your brotherâs keeper. You must love every other Kenyan. If Migingo is going, we get together as Kenyans. If any part of Kenya is threatened, we get together as one country. Therefore, the only thing that I would want to ask the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance is to be on his guard and make sure that - because the mechanisms are there and the Office of the Prime Minister and the Office of the President are important, that Kenya, in this very important phase, every worth of every coin that has been given for purposes of governance or development, Kenyans get the full value for the money and the taxes that they have paid. That will show a big difference. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I never imagined that this economy would be talking about a trillion. There was a time when we were in this Parliament where the Budget was Kshs200 million and it looked like a lot of money. Somehow, money has come from somewhere. Kenya has got resources and also shock absorbers. There are sometimes when we think that we are finished as a nation, but we continue to absorb these shocks every time that we have these challenges. Finally, we should also remember that we are living in very consequential times. No other generation will live in a period when so many things are happening at the same time. So, in the words of Article 10 of the Constitution, unity of the nation, patriotism and all those values, if every time we open our mouths including myself and hon. Ethuro to talk about them, Kenya will be a better place, so be it. With those remarks, I beg to support."
