Members, as you are aware, the first prayer relates to the amendment contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill, 2013, while the second one relates to a Bill that has been considered by the House, and whose Presidential Memorandum is scheduled for consideration by this House later in the week. This Petition, therefore, shall stand committed to the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, and the Departmental Committee on Energy, Information and Communication for consideration. The Committees are requested to consider the respective prayers in the Petition and report their findings in accordance with Standing Order No. 227(2). The two Committees are at liberty to consider the respective Petitions while considering the two Bills."
