Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, clause 12 be amended- (a) by deleting the word “Director” whenever it appears and substituting therefor the words “Director-General”; (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (3) “(4) A person shall qualify for appointment as a Director General if the person- (a) holds a minimum qualification of a post-graduate degree in a relevant field, from a university recognized in Kenya; (b) has at least fifteen years of working experience in a relevant profession; and (c) meets the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution."
